The Feast Day Celebration of St. Jude

St. Jude Shrine

Dear Friend of St. Jude,

You are a cherished member of our Circle of Hope, and I would like you to be part of our 2017 Celebration of the Feast of St. Jude. This year’s celebration coincides with the 100th anniversary of our beautiful Shrine – the Nationwide Center of St. Jude Devotions in Baltimore – and promises to be a noteworthy event.

I personally extend an invitation to you to attend any of our 10 Masses that are scheduled during the Feast Day Celebration…

October 22nd – Mass and Novena Services
8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m.
October 28th – the Feast Day of St. Jude – Mass and Novena Services
7:45 a.m., 10:00 a.m. (Spanish service), 12:00 noon, 1:30 p.m.
October 29th – Mass and Novena Services
8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m.

If you are unable to attend any of these Masses, you can still be part of this important Celebration by praying with us for the miraculous power of St. Jude to touch your life.

St. Jude promises us comfort, healing and hope whenever we turn to him. Through our faith in God and through St. Jude’s intercession, we find answers to our prayers, healing to ease our pain and strength to meet the challenges of life.

Please send us the needs and intentions that fill your heart. We will place your prayers in the hands of St. Jude, and we know that he will help, as he has done for thousand of people from around the world. With all the many voices paying tribute to our Patron Saint of Hope, I am confident your petitions will be heard!

Every week we receive hundreds of testimonials – like the ones I’ve included here – from people whose lives have been changed through St. Jude’s powerful intercession:

Our son-in-law was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on his kidney and prostate. They were removed, and he needed no radiation or chemo. He went for all his tests, and he is cancer free. With the power of prayer and the help of St. Jude, we are forever grateful – Shirley

St. Jude, I was so depressed, so lonely, and so frightened. I thought I would never see happiness again, I really did. I was in debt, depression, and despair. I was suicidal and scared, but you took it all away. You’ve always answered my prayers, and I will be eternally grateful. I love you and will always honor you as my special and powerful patron. – Sandra

I was facing the possibility of cancer recurrence after three years of being cancer-free. I prayed to St. Jude with all my heart. I continue to be cancer-free. Each day is a miracle. Thank you St. Jude. I will always be devoted to you.

I was in terrible pain from my hip. I could barely walk and could never get comfortable. I hadn’t slept well for days. I became suicidal at the though of spending the rest of my life in pain. I said a simple prayer to St. Jude telling him that I couldn’t live like that. Within a few days, I was completely pain free. I am now back to normal activities. I am so very grateful to St. Jude for hearing my plea. He has NEVER let me down, and I am blessed to have him on my side. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. – Betsy

Do you, or someone you love, need St. Jude’s incredible power in your life at this time? Maybe a family member is battling cancer or another serious illness. Perhaps someone you care about needs help with a financial problem or an addiction. Or perhaps a friend has given up on finding a job. Please let us help. Our priests and brothers are honored to pray for St. Jude’s intercession in bringing your prayer requests before God.

When you send your prayer requests, I hope you will include an offering for our ministries in 54 countries around the world. Your gift will help bring relief aid, including food, shelter, medicine, clean water and education to the poor, along with the hope and love of Jesus Christ.

My prayer for you is that the kindness you have shared with our ministry will be abundantly returned to you. Please know that you can count on me to seek God’s hope and help on your behalf and for those you love and care about.

May St. Jude obtain for you every blessing of health and happiness.

Wishing you the Hope of St. Jude,

Fr. Peter Sticco, S.A.C.
Novena Director

P.S. Your gift today helps support all of our ministries, particularly our St. Jude Shrine and the poor we serve around the world. Please be as generous as possible and be sure to send your prayer requests so they can be remembered in the prayers, Novenas and Masses at our Shrine and on the tomb of St. Jude in the Vatican.
