Dear Friend of St. Jude,
I write to you today with optimism and hope as we cautiously emerge from the darkest days of the pandemic. Together, we will soon celebrate the light of a new day!
I extend to you my deepest, heartfelt gratitude for your loyal support. Your prayers and offerings are a divine sign of God’s love and mercy for our mission to the poor. Thank you for being a special blessing to our ministry and a cherished member of our Circle of Hope!
We Pallotines want to repay your faithful friendship in the greatest way we are able. Please allow us to pray for you and for the intentions that are closest to your heart. Simply send us your requests. We are honored to pray for St. Jude’s powerful intercession in bringing your prayer requests before God.
As Catholics and members of our St. Jude Circle of Hope, we are spiritually lifted up by the message of hope promised to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our beloved St. Jude Thaddeus — Saint of Hopeless Causes. As we prepare for St. Jude’s Feast Day on October 28, we look forward to rejoicing in St. Jude’s everlasting message of hope.
I know many of you look forward to coming to Baltimore for St. Jude’s Feast Day, and I’m delighted to say that we’ve opened our sacred St. Jude Shrine for daily Masses and Novena Services. We invite all of our friends and supporters to join us as we ask St. Jude to intercede for those who need hope and healing during our Solemn Novena. We want to pray with you during this special time of year!
We are welcoming worshippers and pilgrimage groups every day of the week, so please plan to visit during our Feast Day services. Our Solemn Novena begins on Wednesday, September 8th, and also on Sunday, September 12th and continues for nine consecutive weeks. If you are unable to visit the Shrine in person, you are invited to join us online of Facebook (@stjudeshrine.org) and YouTube (St. Jude Shrine Live Stream). In addition to our daily Masses, we have a daily blessing at 9:00 am.
If you can’t visit, I invite you to be part of our Feast Day Celebration through prayer. Please allow us to pray with you for St. Jude to touch your life. Our
priests and brothers look forward to receiving your prayer requests.
Perhaps you or someone you love is in need of St. Jude’s healing power. Maybe a friend or family member is battling a serious illness or an addiction. Or do you have a family member who is searching for employment… or needs comfort during a time of loss. No matter what circumstances you are struggling with, please let us help.
Our cherished patron Saint has brought help and hope into the lives of thousands of people around the world. Just a few of the many testimonials we receive weekly are shown in this letter.
I had arrived in the country from Canada and was looking for a job. I heard that St. Jude hears the plea of impossible and hopeless cases. I made a Novena to St. Jude and memorized it so that I could say it throughout the day. I pleaded with him to help me get a job in either one of two companies. Well, shortly after I started the Novena, I received a call for an interview from one of the companies and was offered a job. I have now been with this company for over 40 years. There have been numerous times when I could have been laid off, but St. Jude kept my job through it all. I am now ready to retire. I want to say thank you to St. Jude for this great favor! – Jean
I was having terrible pains in my feet. It was a lot of suffering to endure. I had a picture of Jesus by my bed, and I would cry to it every night. My doctor told me that I had neuropathy in my feet; I suffered for 9 months. I went to a different doctor and she told me that I did not have neuropathy. I began a 9-day Novena to St. Jude. I had to have a cat scan, and it showed that my uterus was the size of a soccer ball. I had to have a hysterectomy. I received the answer to my problem on day nine of the Novena. After surgery, my feet did not hurt anymore. Thanks be to God and St. Jude! I know St. Jude granted me a miracle! – Nora
You, too, can receive hope and healing…St. Jude is always ready to bring hope into your life. Please send your special intentions along with your gift of hope today. Your gift of $15, $25, $35 or even $50 will provide tangible relief aid, such as food, medicine, clean drinking water and shelter… along with the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
My prayer is that the kindness you have shared with our ministry will be abundantly returned to you. Please know that when I say my prayers, some of my most thankful prayers to God will be for you.
Wishing you the Hope of St. Jude,
Fr. Peter Sticco, S.A.C.
P.S. Please send your prayer requests along with your most generous gift today. I will make sure your prayer requests are remembered in the prayers, Novenas and Masses at our Shrine and on the tomb of St. Jude in the Vatican.
