In Honor/In Memory

Remembrance Candle

Dear Friend of St. Jude,

On a recent family gathering, we pulled out some family photos and began reminiscing about our loved ones, many of whom have passed. It brought back precious memories of my own mother and father, Lucy and Pasquale Sticco.

Memories came flooding back of many cherished people from my past… of the treasured times we spent together… and of the difference they made in my life. The experience reminded me that St. Jude Shrine offers unique opportunities through which we can pay special tribute to the individuals who have so deeply touched our lives.

Wall of HonorAt this time of remembrance, I extend these same opportunities to you, so you can pay tribute to the beloved people in your life.

Our “virtual” Wall of Honor is an excellent way to memorialize a loved one, honor a special person, or celebrate a milestone. My family has memorialized our own mother and father on the Wall of Honor. In addition to the special honor you bestow on your loved one by enrolling him or her on the Wall, your gift supports the Shrine, our Pallottine priests and brothers, and our mission work around the world. To enroll someone on the Wall of Honor, please go to our website www.stjudeshrine.org and click on Wall of Honor. You can also order by calling our toll free number 877-278-5833.

For those who are living or for those who have passed, a Remembrance Candle is a wonderful way to acknowledge holidays, anniversaries, sacraments, or other special dates. I invite you to light a Remembrance Candle to honor your loved ones. The candle will be lit for one year, and a small plaque displaying the name you request will be mounted below the candle. The annual offering is $200, which will benefit the ministries of St. Jude Shrine. You can also order by calling our toll free number 877-278-5833.

Remembrance CandleWe would be honored to pray for your loved ones, living or deceased. When you reply to this invitation, please send us the name(s) of loved ones that you would like our Pallottine priests and brothers to remember in prayer.

Please know that we will also pray for St. Jude’s help in bringing your prayer requests before God.

Perhaps you have a friend or family member who is struggling with a serious illness… or mourning the loss of a spouse. Or maybe you have a grown son who is out of work… or a friend with an addiction. You may be dealing with a desperate situation yourself, or know others who are.

St. Jude’s intercession with the Lord on our behalf has restored a multitude of grateful souls to good health – physically, emotionally and spiritually. He embraces our prayer requests and through his powerful intercession, changes lives.

When you send your prayer petitions to us, I humbly ask that you include an offering for our missionary work in 54 countries around the world. Your gift will help provide tangible relief aid to the poor, including food, clean water, medicine and shelter, along with the love of Jesus Christ.

I look forward to receiving your prayer requests. All your intentions will be remembered in the prayers, Novenas and Masses offered here at St. Jude Shrine.

May you be strengthened with God’s healing love through the intercession of St. Jude.

Wishing you the hope of St. Jude,

Fr. Peter Sticco, S.A.C.
Novena Director

P.S. Your gift today helps support all our Pallottine ministries, particularly our St. Jude Shrine and the poor we serve. Please be as generous as possible and don’t forget to send  your prayer requests, so they may be remembered in the prayers, Novenas and Masses at our Shrine and in daily Mass that is celebrated on St. Jude’s tomb in the Vatican.
