Happy Mother’s Day!

Dear Friend of St. Jude,

Father Peter Sticco, S.A.C. Novena Director

All of us have said, “I love you, Mom!”, at one time or another. Mother’s Day, May 10th, is a day when we can celebrate our mother’s love. Whether your mother is living, or now rests with the Lord, you can still show your love for her.

I invite you to join me and our Pallottine priests and brothers in a special gift of prayer honoring all mothers, grandmothers, godmothers – anyone who has opened their heart to another – at our Blessing of Mothers to be conducted during Mother’s Day Mass on Sunday, May 10th.

If you can’t be present with us at St. Jude Shrine, you can still join us. Simply send us your mother’s name, or the name of any loved one you wish to honor. Send us your petitions today to ensure that they will be included in our upcoming Masses and Novenas.

Perhaps you, or someone you care about, could use St. Jude’s intercession for healing or for hope in a desperate situation. We will pray for St. Jude’s powerful intercession for you and those you love.

People around the world rely on St. Jude and our ministry of hope. Here’s just one note of thanks from the thousands we receive . . .

“As a single Mom, I experienced difficulties with my teenage son. He stopped studying and turned to drugs. He was failing in his schoolwork and hung around with teens who continued to influence his bad habits. I prayed to St. Jude and he touched our lives. Through his intercession, my son was healed of his addictions. Now he is going to college and has excellent grades. St. Jude made him a different person . . .”

We work day and night around the world bringing the hope of St. Jude to those who are lost and suffering. We bring comfort and relief to people in our worldwide ministries. In Mozambique, our ministry with children helps to keep kids in school so they may hope for a better future . . . In India, we help provide nutritional food so children and their families have healthier lives . . . and high in the Andes Mountains of Peru, our new parish brings the hope of Jesus Christ to a community, who for decades, had felt lost and abandoned.

We touch many lives thanks to your prayers and generosity!

I humbly ask for your gift today. Whatever you can give will help us continue our ministries where the needs are so very great. Thank you for your compassion and kindness for the poor.

Please be sure to send us your prayer intentions. We Pallottine priests and brothers thank God for you. We keep you and your intentions in our hearts, in our Masses and in our prayers. May you and your loved ones rejoice in the blessings of God.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Wishing you the hope of St. Jude,

Fr. Peter Sticco, S.A.C.
Novena Director

P.S. Your kindness and support make it possible for our missionaries to bring relief aid, comfort, and the love of Jesus Christ to poor mothers and children around the world. Thank you!
