Reasons Why People Write to This Baltimore Shrine
Catholics - even some non-Catholics - write to this Shrine and request
to be permanently registered because they know that their problems
and intentions will be remembered:
- Every Wednesday during the four Perpetual Novena Services and
every Sunday during the two Perpetual Novena Services.
- In the Monthly Novena of Masses
- In the daily Mass celebrated on the tomb of St. Jude in the
Vatican at the request of this Shrine.
They also write to this Shrine because:
- You can ask for a free Novena Booklet containing prayers to
St. Jude for private recitation.
- You can request the celebration of individual Masses for your
respective intentions.
Please do not ask that your Masses be offered on any particular
days. The Masses will be offered in the order in which they
are received-we cannot promise a fixed date for any Mass.
Minimum stipend for the Eucharistic Liturgy (the Mass)
will be $5.00.
- You can enroll yourself or relatives and friends (living or
deceased) in the League of St Jude.
All those registered at the Shrine receive periodically a personal
letter from the Novena Director concerning devotion to St. Jude.
